ROSSES POINT COASTAL WALK

This project was broken into two phases. Phase one, completed in 2007 consisted of the excavation and disposal of the existing promenade surface and replacing with new improved surface to enhance the walking experience along the promenade taking in scenic views of Coney Island, Knocknarea and Benbulben. This also included street furniture and a safe pedestrian crossing linking the hugely utilised promenade walk to Rosses Point Village.

Phase Two of the project provides a designated walking link from the promenade to the yacht club and beach area and tie into the existing scenic coastal walk already provided for passing the ruins of Elsinor House and the old pilot watch house used to guide ships into Sligo Harbour.
